Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Cancer Care Nurse Specialist to join our team in a leading Private Hospital in Northern Sydney. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's commitment to excellence in surgical, medical, and maternity care.
About the Role:
- As a Registered Nurse in the oncology unit, you will lead and promote evidence-based nursing practices within your team, acting as a clinical expert and mentor to facilitate professional development among staff.
- You will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, developing and implementing quality initiatives and practice improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
- With a strong clinical background and passion for oncology nursing, you will educate team members and foster a collaborative learning environment, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and promote evidence-based nursing practices within the team.
- Act as a clinical expert and mentor, facilitating professional development among staff.
