Top Cut Foods, a leading meat supplier in Australia, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join their team at their head office in Ormeau, Gold Coast.

This role is ideal for a finance professional with a background in the FMCG industry, looking to take on a challenging and rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and process invoices and check requests
  • Sort, code, and match invoices for payment
  • Enter and upload invoices into the system
  • Track expenses and process expense reports
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare analysis of accounts
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files and records
  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  • Produce monthly reports and assist with month-end closing
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits

Requirements:

  • Assertive and tactful communication skills
  • Pleasant telephone manner and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Foodchain is a plus
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • High degree of accuracy
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and other financial software
  • Understanding of general ledgers and journals
  • Ability to work as part of a team
