**Early Childhood Education Leadership Opportunity**

As an Assistant Centre Director, you will play a key role in supporting the Centre Director in the operational and educational management of our centre. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Centre Director in the leadership and development of a team of educators and teachers to deliver high-quality education and care;
  • Assisting with the day-to-day management and leadership of the centre, ensuring regulatory compliance with legislation and standards;
  • Building and nurturing relationships with families, community stakeholders, local schools, and support services;
  • Working collaboratively with Educational Leaders and Centre Directors to achieve shared goals and objectives;

**Essential Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or experienced diploma with proven leadership roles;
  • Current compliance certificates (e.g., WWCC / WWVP etc.);
  • Completion of approved Child Protection course;
  • Current approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management certificates;
  • Experience in past leadership roles in Early Childhood Education;
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Standards, legislation, Early Years Learning Framework, and contemporary pedagogies that influence practice;
  • Open to learning, well-organised, and clear communicator with effective verbal and written skills.
