Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement an industry-leading application security program, aligning with best practices, technology strategy, and organizational values.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate security into software development life cycles.
- Provide strategic leadership on security architecture, threat modelling, and modern application security approaches.
- Perform comprehensive security assessments, including code reviews and leveraging SAST/DAST tools and techniques.
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, with a focus on application security.
- Strong background in secure software development and building security into existing SDLC processes.
- Deep knowledge of secure coding practices and modern attack techniques.
- Experience establishing new application security programs in technology companies.
- Proficiency in programming languages: Go, Ruby, C/C++.
- Expertise in SAST, DAST tooling, and other application security testing tools.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and API security.
- Experience with cloud security and container security technologies.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including presenting complex security issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
