Assistant Technical Airworthiness Compliance Specialist

About the Role
The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Technical Airworthiness Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our aviation maintenance organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the ongoing sustainability of our certification under Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Part 145.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct scheduled and random audits and sampling to ensure conformance to regulatory requirements.
- Provide general and ongoing surveillance of the maintenance venue to ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards.
- Assist key maintenance staff in the development and improvement of internal procedures and processes.
Requirements
- Relevant aviation technical experience in the aviation maintenance environment or a similar discipline.
- Relevant qualifications and understanding of Quality System auditing requirements and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal staff and key stakeholders.
