Key role in supporting vulnerable individuals across Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia. This position is focused on addressing alcohol and drug concerns, mental health issues and transitioning from corrective services.

We have a comprehensive program to provide targeted psychological therapies for those in need, with a focus on increasing access to treatment in the Darling Downs region.

In this role, you will be based in Warwick, covering the surrounding area and local government boundaries.

You will work closely with individuals to provide support and services, conducting sessions under their mental health care treatment plans.

The goal of these interventions is to help individuals recover or reduce distress related to presenting issues.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual therapy sessions to address various mental health concerns.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of counselling or treatments and modifying plans as necessary.
  • Implementing clinical risk management strategies to ensure client safety.
  • Participating in regular supervision and team meetings.
  • Referencing clients to other treating professionals or support services if required.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for part-time work for the right candidate.

The salary range is $106,379 to $119,869 plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience.
