Job Overview

About the Role

This position involves operating woodchippers and performing ground-based pruning, supporting street tree pruning contracts for local councils and infrastructure partners, assisting with large tree pruning, removals and dismantling, and participating in specialist vegetation and environmental projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate woodchippers safely and efficiently.
  • Perform ground-based pruning and other related tasks.
  • Support street tree pruning contracts for local councils and infrastructure partners.
  • Assist with large tree pruning, removals and dismantling.
  • Participate in specialist vegetation and environmental projects.
Training & Development

You will have the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications and industry tickets, including:

  • Chainsaw operation.
  • Rope and harness climbing.
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) pruning.
  • Traffic Management and First Aid.
  • Certificate II in ESI - Powerline Vegetation Control.
  • Potential progression to Certificate III in Arboriculture for suitable candidates.
