Working as part of the Tree Management team, you will provide leadership and direction to field staff, ensuring tasks are performed safely and to a high standard.

You should be qualified and experienced in arboriculture and/or horticulture, with a passion for maintaining our public open spaces. As a self-starter willing to go the extra mile, you can motivate others, manage your time effectively, and assist team members in doing the same. Your experience should include highly developed knowledge of native fauna and flora, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria in your online application:

  • Knowledge of arboriculture principles
  • Extensive experience in tree management activities
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring field staff
  • Certificate III in Arboriculture / Horticulture or significant relevant workplace experience in a related discipline
  • Current 'MR' class driver's license

This position offers a gross weekly wage of $1,559, which includes all allowances and penalty rates, and offers additional benefits such as:

  • 12% superannuation with the option to contribute up to a further 5%
