About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Windows Engineer with a minimum NV1 security clearance to join our team at Fujitsu. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and deploying Windows server platforms to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our client's IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Windows server platforms, including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, and remote desktop services.
  • Develop and maintain system images for Windows operating systems.
  • Integrate Windows operating systems with VMware virtualization platforms and other technologies.
  • Implement server automation to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and operate backup and recovery services for virtualized Windows systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Requirements

  • Minimum NV1 clearance, ideally NV2 or PV.
  • A background in Defence or Federal Government is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Windows server platforms, including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, and remote desktop services.
  • Experience in designing, testing, and deploying Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of integration with VMware virtualization platforms and other technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with server automation tools and techniques for Windows environments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality Windows solutions.
