Synaco by Synergie is seeking a skilled Civil Road Construction Labourer to join our team in the Wide-Bay Burnett Region. As a Labourer, you will play a crucial role in the construction of a major infrastructure project, upgrading 4 standalone sections and treating 23 individual crests along Grills Rd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clearing and grubbing of vegetation and debris
  • Realignment of roads and infrastructure
  • Pavement reconstruction and maintenance
  • Manoeuvre widening and earthworks
  • Embankment widening and drainage works
  • Improvements to property access and intersection improvements
  • Signage and line marking works

You may also be required to direct traffic through worksites, move materials around the site, operate company vehicles used in road working, and assist with general labouring site duties.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in civil road construction
  • White card certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • ROLLER Machinery Operator tickets
  • Full PPE and reliable team player
  • Physically fit and able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test, and Pre-employment medical and/or police check, if required

This is a casual position with full-time hours, which may lead to a permanent role in the future. The project is expected to last around 9 months, and you will be required to work Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays if needed.
