Senior WHS Professional

This is a challenging opportunity to join our organization as a Work Health and Safety (WHS) professional. As a WHS Officer, you will be responsible for assisting the Coordinator Integrated Risk Management in developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing WHS related systems and processes used across the organization.
Key responsibilities include conducting workplace inspections, leading incident investigations, writing reports, and presenting findings to Executive level management and/or Health and Safety Committee. You will also be required to develop and review policies and procedures, train staff on WHS processes, and provide high-quality reports and data analysis.
The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in WHS or relevant experience in a WHS field, demonstrated knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, regulations, and Codes of Practice. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a team-based environment and prioritize tasks efficiently. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and in-house databases is also required.
