Dairy Cattle Farm Operator Job Description

Job Summary: Global Skilled Employment Services is seeking a skilled Dairy Cattle Farm Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dairy farm operations and be able to perform tasks such as milking, equipment maintenance, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain milking plant and equipment
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions
  • Work co-operatively as part of a team
  • Read and record instrument information
  • Understand and apply principles of safe working
  • Maintain machinery and perform adjustments
  • Solve problems and make decisions within guidelines

Requirements:

  • At least an AQF certificate II or III in Agriculture (or equivalent)
  • At least one year of recent and relevant work experience

Working Conditions: This is a full-time position which may involve weekend or public holidays work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises (paid accordingly).
