Process Operator Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Process Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring boiler stations to ensure efficient steam production. Your role will involve providing regular feedback to management on station performance, collaborating with colleagues to achieve relevant competencies, and demonstrating a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor boiler stations to ensure sufficient steam levels are driving alternators that generate power for factory operations and external demands.
  • Provide regular and accurate feedback to management on station performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assist in the professional development of boiler assistants.
  • Show a strong commitment to safety and adhere to all applicable regulations and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A High Risk Work Licence for Turbine Operator (TO) and Advanced Boiler Operator (BA).
  • Applicants with additional High-Risk Work Licences (e.g. Working Safely at Heights and Confined Spaces) are desirable.
