Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Classroom Teacher. As a key member of our school community, you will be responsible for inspiring young minds, fostering a positive learning environment, and developing engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.

You will also provide individual attention to students, addressing their unique needs, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes. By building strong relationships with parents and guardians, you will support student success and make a lasting impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student growth and development.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide individualized support to students, addressing their unique needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and guardians to support student success.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A deep understanding of and commitment to Catholic Education values and principles.
  • Demonstrated expertise as a classroom practitioner, with a proven track record of improving student outcomes.
  • Appropriate qualifications and experience in the position advertised, including relevant NESA accreditation.
  • An informed understanding of inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy and the role of formative and summative assessment in providing feedback that advances student learning.
  • An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing positively to staff professional culture and promoting a culture of excellence.

  • Knowledge of relevant NESA curriculum documentation, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to teach another subject.
  • NSW NESA Accreditation.
  • NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B).
