General Practitioner Opportunity in South-East Queensland

This role presents a unique opportunity for a General Practitioner to join a longstanding practice in Boonah and Kalbar, located approximately 1 hour from Brisbane CBD and 80 minutes from the Gold Coast. The area is characterised by its natural beauty, with numerous national parks, lakes, and high-quality social infrastructure.

Job Title: General Practitioner - Boonah and Kalbar, Queensland

Job Type: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum 3 days)

Practice Overview

The practice offers an excellent working environment, with integrated facilities and comprehensive support for incoming doctors. This region provides a great work-life balance, with low crime rates, friendly patients, and easy access to Brisbane CBD and other amenities.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, with a focus on communication skills, judgment, and long-term commitment. The role involves one in five telephone on-call weeknights and weekends, as well as one Saturday morning session in five.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • FRACGP or FACRRM required
  • Significant GP experience
  • Medical Board registration

Eligible candidates may receive support and financial incentives through Health Workforce Queensland's programs. This position may also qualify for a professional development scholarship or bursary.
