Casual Educator Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood professional to join our team as a Casual Educator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and education to young children.

Job Description

As a Casual Educator, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years. You will work closely with other educators to plan and implement engaging learning programs that promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children.

You will be required to maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents and carers. Your ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues will be essential in ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma qualification in Children's Services
  • An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service working with children 0-5 years
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid certificate
