Role Summary:
Dynamic Ongoing AHP2 Rotational Pharmacist OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the CALHN Pharmacy Department as a rotational pharmacist.
The role will initially be based in the Emergency Department for the first 12 months with an opportunity to complete training for Partnered Pharmacist Medication Prescribing.
Extended hours work and/or a 7-day roster may be required.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver comprehensive and high-quality pharmacy services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities include providing expert clinical advice, dispensing and counselling services, and contributing to the safe and effective use of medicines for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
You will play a key role in optimising drug therapy and improving health outcomes in line with SA Health policies and national standards.
Additionally, opportunities exist to support research, participate in quality improvement initiatives, supervise pharmacy interns and students, and contribute to the education of medical, nursing and allied health staff.
This is a unique position for pharmacists seeking to grow their clinical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to patient-centred care in a state-wide pharmacy service.
