Corporate Travel Manager Role at Flight Centre

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Travel Manager to join our team at Flight Centre Travel Group.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the travel requirements and presenting travel solutions for large market corporations. This includes making professional and accurate business travel arrangements, as well as ensuring that all travel-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

About the Opportunity:

This is a Monday to Friday role that offers above-market earnings, with current averages $80,000-85,000 per annum plus superannuation. You will also have access to uncapped incentives and a range of employee benefits, including free health and wellness consultations, free financial planning consultations, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage travel requirements and present travel solutions for large market corporations
  • Make professional and accurate business travel arrangements, including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations
  • Follow company procedures, account guidelines, and customer service standards in the area of making travel arrangements, ticketing, Phase IVs, ticket exchanges/changes, CRS/GDS productivity
  • GDS proficiency – Sabre highly regarded
  • Excellent communicator and professionalism
  • Work as a team member and assist other agents as needed in completing all functions related to servicing the client
  • Maintain favourable working relationships with accounts and all of their employees
  • Provide solutions to travel-related problems clients may have experienced with arrangements
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and professionalism
  • Expertise in fares and complex itineraries

About You:

  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Experience as a Travel Consultant or Travel Manager (min 2 years experience)
  • International experience
  • To be a 'people person' with networking and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
  • Tertiary education is highly regarded
  • Great business acumen
