About Geophysical Consulting Services
Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated Graduate/Junior Geophysicist to assist with geophysical surveys, including seismic refraction, MASW, electrical resistivity, magnetics, ground penetrating radar, and electromagnetics. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and processing geophysical data, drafting reports, and engaging with equipment maintenance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree of Science majoring in Geophysics or Geology;
- Numerical, analytical, and observation skills;
- Ability to problem solve;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work within a team environment;
- Familiarity with geophysical acquisition and processing software such as Rayfract, ParkSeis, Oasis Montaj (Geosoft), Res2DInv, Seis Imager 2D, ReflexW, and WellCAD;
- Valid working rights in Australia;
- Ability to pass a medical exam and regular drug and alcohol screening.
