About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Broker to join our team in Hobart. As a Mortgage Broker, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through the mortgage process, assessing their financial needs, and delivering customised solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse client financials to identify suitable lending options
  • Liaise with lenders to negotiate favourable terms and conditions
  • Prepare loan applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work with senior management on strategies for business growth
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial or residential lending
  • Cert IV in Mortgage Broking / Diploma
  • Strong understanding of lending products, loan structures, and credit assessment processes
  • Accreditation with a recognised industry body (e.g., MFAA, FBAA)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to naturally build rapport
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
