Undergraduate Dental Supervisor

Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Dentist to provide clinical supervision for undergraduate dental students in our busy public clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising 4th and 5th-year dental students from La Trobe University and will carry an honorary title with the university.
The role involves providing high-quality clinical supervision and assessment of student learning and performance, as well as ensuring the safe and quality care of patients in the clinic. The successful candidate will work closely with the AWH program manager, senior dental assistant, and LTU Student Clinical Support Officer to oversee the daily operations of the student clinical program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and assessment of undergraduate dental students
- Ensure the safe and quality care of patients in the clinic
- Work closely with the AWH program manager, senior dental assistant, and LTU Student Clinical Support Officer to oversee the daily operations of the student clinical program
- Develop and implement clinical education programs for undergraduate dental students
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures
- Minimum of 3 years current clinical practice
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical competency in dental practice
- Demonstrate capability in effective clinical supervision
