This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rural healthcare setting as a Therapeutic Support Assistant.

  • Provide therapy and support to individual clients under the supervision of experienced professionals
  • Conduct assessments and deliver group therapy programs in line with established protocols
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine safety checks and organizing maintenance schedules
  • Source and manage clinical supplies and equipment to ensure optimal delivery of services
  • Deliver administrative support including maintaining client education materials and records

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent experience
  • An understanding of person-centered care principles and community health practices
  • Exceptional communication, time management and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to establish rapport with diverse clients
