To be eligible, candidates must hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or New Zealand citizenship. A tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics is essential, along with eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association. The ability to travel and work independently is necessary for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized plans to address these needs.
  • Nutrition Education: Provide patients and healthcare professionals with expert nutrition advice and education to support informed decision-making.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
  • Quality Improvement: Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice in nutrition.
