
Oral Health Care Support Specialist

Our team at Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a skilled Casual Dental Assistant to support our dental officers and oral health therapists in delivering safe and effective oral health services.
The successful candidate will have experience in dental assisting, possess qualification in a field recognised by the Dental Assistant Education Council of Australia or equivalent, OR be prepared to undertake Certificate III in Dental Assisting.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with all oral health care procedures
- Demonstrating high level of competency in assisting with all oral health care procedures
- Providing administrative assistance and support
- Utilizing computer software and electronic systems to complete work tasks
Key skills and qualifications:
- Experience in dental assisting
- Qualification in a field recognised by the Dental Assistant Education Council of Australia or equivalent
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or preparedness to undertake)
- Ability to use computer software and electronic systems
