Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of maintenance technician, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our parcel sorting and delivery machinery.

As a maintenance technician, you will play a vital part in maintaining the machinery, diagnosing and repairing complex faults, and prioritizing safety in all your work.

  • Mechanical fitters and electricians will work on processing machines to ensure corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex faults will be key to uninterrupted operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance transactions using CMMS systems will contribute to efficient planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to a minimum Certificate III in Electrical with full NSW Elec Licence.
  • Experience in diagnosing, repairing, and monitoring high-speed automation or processing equipment and systems.
  • Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively.
