Environmental Scientist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving urban renewal projects and precinct-level design remediation that transform communities.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of environmental consulting expertise and experience in building relationships, managing projects, and driving business development.

  • This position requires a tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • A strong understanding of contaminated land auditing and technical advisory services is essential.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team and contribute to delivering innovative solutions for our clients and the planet.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive urban renewal projects and precinct-level design remediation that transform communities.
  2. Support large-scale infrastructure projects in fast-paced environments, delivering results for trusted clients.
  3. Provide property due diligence and transactional advisory services for industrial and commercial real estate.
  4. Offer technical advisory, expert witness services, and regulatory strategy support.
  5. Collaborate with contaminated land auditors and provide optional audit support.

Your Qualifications:

  1. A tertiary qualification in environmental science or a related field from a recognized institution.
  2. At least 10 years' experience in environmental consulting, ideally in Australia.
  3. Proven skills in building relationships, managing projects, and driving business development.
  4. Experience crafting winning proposals for projects of all sizes.
  5. A passion for mentoring and developing junior staff.
