Key Responsibilities
  • Develop on-premise virtualization environments using VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter and related technologies for optimal performance.
  • Design and integrate complex ICT systems including hardware, software and network components to support tunnel automation and intelligent transport systems.
  • Troubleshoot networking and ICT system issues effectively to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions ensuring data protection and business continuity.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to improve knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Manage SAN/NAS storage solutions to support virtualization infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards like IEC 62443 by implementing robust security controls.
  • Use scripting and automation tools like PowerShell, Python, Ansible and Puppet to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in infrastructure systems including VMware environments.
  • Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with backup solutions like Nakivo and data protection best practices.
  • Networking expertise routing, switching firewalls VPNs VLANs and network protocols.
  • Experience with SAN/NAS storage solutions and data storage management.
  • Cybersecurity knowledge including IEC 62443 standards and threat analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts.
Additional Involvement
  • Design and maintain VMware systems for high availability.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking infrastructure for optimal performance.
  • Plan backup and disaster recovery strategies for business continuity.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Test and verify ICT systems to ensure reliability and quality.
