Senior Legal Advisor

This role provides high-level strategic and legal advice across critical areas.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering expert legal advice with a strong focus on service excellence.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, including enterprise bargaining processes, dispute resolution, and litigation.
  • Provide counsel to internal teams and executive management, interpreting complex legal issues into actionable insights.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalise commercial agreements and contracts.
  • Prepare high-quality submissions and reports for regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with external counsel, government agencies, and industry stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Conduct research, interpret legislation, and provide critical opinions.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver expert legal advice and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees and managers on employment law and policy.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and conflicts of interest.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
