Business Support Role

This is a pivotal position where you can make a significant impact by supporting the strategic and operational needs of our Legal Services Group through effective delivery of budgeting, resourcing, reporting and compliance, and business process improvement.

In this role, you will be accountable for effectively assisting in:

  • Management of financial resources, variance analysis and forecasting
  • Coordinate contributions to strategic and business planning processes, including performance reporting across the organization
  • Assist with risk management by developing and maintaining a risk register and coordinating monthly risk meetings
  • Compliance activities, such as monitoring and updating processes and procedures
  • Improving business processes

You will partner with other teams to provide seamless, integrated and timely operational support to Legal Services. This role requires strong analytical skills, with the ability to organize, analyse and disseminate financial information accurately. Experience in implementing projects or business improvement initiatives involving multiple stakeholders is also required.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective networks and relationships. Strong organisational and time management skills are crucial, as is the ability to meet deadlines while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Power BI, and Visio, is desirable, and knowledge of SharePoint is an advantage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual with a background in Law, Commerce, Business Management, Finance or a related discipline. The successful candidate will have experience in any of the following: legal operations budgeting, financial reporting, resource planning, business planning, risk or compliance.
