This exciting opportunity with a large Queensland government client presents a 12-month contract + extension, offering up to $121/hour in Brisbane CBD with the possibility of working from home for 2-3 days per week.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the current D365/SharePoint implementation project, assisting in workflow automation and correspondence management across the business.

  • Gather requirements through workshops and implementation of automation solutions.
  • Elicit critical information from stakeholders, validating and analysing it to present findings effectively.
  • Investigate opportunities for process improvement in areas of complexity or pain points.
  • Ensure legislative obligations are considered in enterprise digital solutions.
  • Identify issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions, outlining business impacts.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, including business, functional, non-functional, and transitional requirements.
  • Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

To be successful in this role, the ideal applicant should possess:

  • Demonstrated 10+ years of experience in performing business analysis activities on large-scale complex ICT projects, preferably in the public sector with SharePoint, M365, D365, Document & Case Management Solutions & EDRMS.
  • Experience leading business process and system modelling activities for large-scale complex organisations using BPMN or UML.
  • Ability to investigate business situations with complexity and ambiguity, identifying recommendations for improvements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Facilitation skills, enabling effective prioritisation of requirements and establishing requirements baseline.
  • Independence in developing stakeholder engagement strategies and plans, providing informed feedback and facilitating business decision-making processes.
  • Stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
