About Us
At Serco, we provide integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. In partnership with Bupa, we deliver defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally. This ensures ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
About the Role
In this position, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre setting, supporting the diverse mental health needs of military members. Referrals will come from various sources; the member, medical team, and Command. The support you offer begins with initial intake and assessment, accommodating presenting need. There is scope for using psychometrics and engaging in treatment that leverages your skills, interests, and scope of practice. You will have autonomy to manage your caseload, including oversight and case management of externally referred cases and internal treatment provision to Defence members. Additionally, your management of crisis presentations, risk assessment, and risk management planning is supported within a multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements and Qualifications
• The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
• Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting, undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and delivering evidence-based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies'.
• Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.

Salary Range
$85,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
