As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for process work in various tasks and jobs.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work with small materials.

You will be working with some machinery and hand tools in a strict safety environment. To succeed in this role, you must be proactive, flexible, and able to interpret and follow instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Check, inspect, and control equipment to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow safe operating procedures and take initiative when necessary.
  • Report faults to management and assist with problem-solving if required.
  • Assemble products using hand tools on the production line.
  • Carry out quality and testing checks throughout the production process.
  • Store goods, equipment, and materials properly and safely in the workplace.
  • Use equipment safely and correctly to ensure all policies are adhered to.
  • Assist with picking and packing of products and ensure correct labeling for distribution.
  • Report hazards or risks to management and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure the safe use of personal protective equipment when required.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and punctuality through past employment.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced factory environment and show honesty and integrity.
  • Aptitude to keep attentive for cyclical tasks and maintain a safe and clean work area.
  • Ability to show initiative and identify problems with materials or processes.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication, understanding, and following of instructions in English.
  • Good eyesight with good hand-eye coordination.
