Financial Services Lawyer Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled financial services lawyer to join our practice.

This role offers a diverse mix of corporate and financial services work, with a focus on primary sectors in the financial services market.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in regulatory, compliance, and corporate work with demonstrated commercial acumen.


Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality advice across areas such as Chapter 7 (Financial Services regime) and Part 5C (managed investment schemes) of the Corporations Act
  • Financial services licensing, compliance, governance, and disclosure
  • AML/CTF obligations and compliance
  • Banking and payments including digital economy Fundraising and licensing matters
  • Emerging fintech and digital assets such as crypto
  • Advising clients on innovative financial products and solutions
  • Leading edge market developments such as ESG and greenwashing

This role offers the chance to develop expertise across multiple areas under the mentorship of a senior legal team who are specialists in their respective financial services sectors.
