Trade Assistant and Vehicle Electrical Accessory Specialist

Job Summary:

Amtek Pty Limited is seeking a skilled Trade Assistant and Vehicle Electrical Accessory Specialist to join our Ambulance production team in our Moorebank facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the assembly and decommissioning of purpose-built vehicles, as well as the fitting of electrical vehicle accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly and decommissioning of a wide range of purpose-built vehicles
  • Fitting of electrical vehicle accessories such as light bars, antennas, sirens, bull bars, and other specialized equipment
  • Assist in day-to-day tasks as per Team Leader's instruction, including general laboring and specific tasks to assist the team and Team Leader
  • Assist in the repairs and maintenance of products

Requirements:

  • Qualification or relevant experience in Automotive / Accessory fitting / Vehicle Body Building / Manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to work to meet strict daily deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
  • Experience working with a variety of tasks using hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work well independently whilst being part of a team
