Job Opportunity:

The Accounts Receivable professional will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate collection of all invoices. This role has the potential to be extended or become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocation of daily payments and identification of reasons for short/missed payments with a view to resolving them efficiently.
  • Processing new account applications, including required credit checks and risk assessments.
  • Regular review of held orders with a view of releasing within agreed time frames.
  • Accurate maintenance of customer accounts, including credit limits, changes to customer details, payment arrangements and other relevant information.
  • Management of month end process to ensure timely distribution of account statements.
  • Escalation of debt recovery to external agencies where appropriate.
  • Monthly review of aged debtors list.
  • Additional duties may be assigned by management from time to time.
  • Strong understanding of credit control processes
  • Cash management & reconciliations experience
  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP would be advantageous.
