About Our Newborn Hearing Screening Program: The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is a leading provider of pediatric healthcare services in Australia, delivering comprehensive care to thousands of children annually across our hospitals and community settings.
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Newborn Hearing Screener to join our State-Wide Infant Screening-Hearing (SWISH) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting newborn infant screenings for hearing loss during their initial hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- We seek a highly skilled professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with newborns or babies, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective time management and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn various systems.
- Experience working within a technical environment and/or healthcare setting.
