Our organization seeks an accomplished Chemist to join our team at our Glendenning site. As a critical member of our Oils and Technical Services team, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective processing of various waste chemical streams.

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated professional with expertise in chemistry and waste management. You will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance for the acceptance, treatment, and storage of liquid and technical waste. Additionally, you will deliver technical and analytical support to the sales team and external customers.

We are seeking someone who is passionate about problem-solving, committed to safety and compliance, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused. Your strong knowledge of risk assessments, preparation of work instructions, and accurate record-keeping skills within tightly regulated environments will be essential in this role.

About the Opportunity
  • Provide technical expertise in waste management and process optimization.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and safe treatment of waste streams.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • Experience working with waste or hazardous chemicals within an industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of chemical handling legislation and storage/disposal requirements.
