
Chemical Process Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Chemical Process Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of testing methods and analysis used in cement production.
Key Responsibilities:- Testing Services: Provide high-quality testing services, analyze product quality data, and recommend improvements to the Quality Control Manager.
- Alternative Fuels & Raw Materials Program Support: Collaborate with the Quality Control Manager to support this program.
- Product Development and Trials: Assist in developing, directing, and performing plant and laboratory trials for new products or modifications to existing ones.
- Monthly Reporting: Prepare detailed monthly reports for the Alternative Fuels Program.
- Laboratory Operations: Maintain laboratory operating costs and ensure availability of critical test equipment.
- Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Applied Science (Chemistry).
- Industrial Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial Laboratory environment.
- Desirable Skills: Desirable: experience in cement manufacturing, managing a small team, and preparing financial justifications.
- Technical Capabilities: High level of technical capability with respect to analytical equipment and advanced computing skills.
