Warehouse Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our night shift team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can motivate and guide a team of 50+ employees to achieve safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your operational expertise to oversee receiving, storing, picking, and loading product in line with company policy and OH&S standards.
  • Ensure timely and complete truck loading to meet strict delivery cut-offs.
  • Monitor labour budgets, overtime, picking rates, and accuracy levels to meet operational targets.
  • Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring HACCP, food safety, and OH&S requirements are consistently met.
  • Develop staff through coaching, training, and clear direction.
  • Foster collaboration between warehouse and transport teams for smooth coordination.
  • Investigate customer complaints, implementing corrective action and service recovery strategies.
  • Provide data-driven insights to senior management.

Requirements:
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally managing large teams in warehousing, distribution, or FMCG.
  • Strong operational knowledge in warehouse and logistics environments, balancing speed, accuracy, and safety.
  • A hands-on approach to problem-solving and coaching staff.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial acumen to manage labour budgets and operational costs.
  • Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a night shift environment.
  • HACCP/food safety and OH&S experience (preferred).
  • Cold storage exposure (advantageous).
