About Our Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a CNC Operator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of high-quality stonemasonry products.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure templates when required, ensuring accurate dimensions for each project.
  • Loading and cutting stone on our CNC machines, utilizing precision engineering techniques to achieve exceptional results.
  • Monitoring automated cutting cycles to optimize machine efficiency, maintaining productivity levels.
  • Maintaining CNC machinery, performing routine checks and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Reading plans, drawings, and job sheets, interpreting technical specifications and instructions.
  • Working collaboratively within a team environment and independently, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Delivering high-quality standards, adhering to strict quality control measures.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience within the stone industry, with a strong understanding of stonemasonry principles and practices.
  • A motivated and reliable individual, capable of working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Naturally attentive to detail, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • An independent problem-solver, able to make informed decisions and take calculated risks.
  • A team player, comfortable working in a collaborative environment and contributing to team goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license, enabling travel between sites and offices.
  • A Forklift License (desirable), demonstrating proficiency in operating heavy machinery.
  • A White Card, indicating completion of safety training and awareness programs.
