Major Renewable Energy Projects Leader

We are seeking a motivated professional to play a key role in the development of nation-building renewable energy projects that will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

As the leader of major projects, you will be accountable for securing and supporting the delivery of major transmission projects across the Transgrid portfolio.

The project leader will integrate construction packaging strategies, develop innovative approaches to delivery, and manage client and steering committee relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver major infrastructure projects worth over $500m
  • Manage large scale civil, structural or electrical project delivery
  • Develop and review construction plans to ensure projects are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and ethical practices

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in construction delivery practices on major infrastructure projects
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline such as engineering, construction management, or business
  • Large scale project delivery experience
  • Collaborative and decisive behavior style
  • Integrity and commitment to ethical practice, equity, and diversity
