Director of Energy Infrastructure Development

This is an exceptional chance to take on a senior engineering leadership role in a Tier 1 infrastructure contractor's project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the overall engineering strategy and coordination for major projects across Australia's energy transition.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to engineering teams during the tender phase of projects.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the engineering team and across the business.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external design partners.
- Assign key personnel and conduct peer reviews and technical audits.
- Drive engineering's contribution to business development, including building client relationships.
- Lead staff training and support ongoing professional development.
- Proven experience as a Senior/Engineering Manager on major energy infrastructure projects.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., BSc Engineering).
- CPEng or eligibility to obtain.
- Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering institution (e.g., Engineers Australia).
