The Balaclava Hotel is more than just a pub; it's a social hub known for its lively bar and welcoming restaurant serving hearty, classic pub fare. We prioritize sourcing locally and sustainably.

A Day In The Life Of a Publican

  • Getting to know the locals by name, making them feel valued and respected.
  • Managing the venue as if it were your own, ensuring safety, smooth operations, and compliance.
  • Being a pillar of the community and motivating a high-performing team.
  • Proactively resolving issues before they escalate.
  • Creating a vibrant atmosphere, delivering excellent service, and spreading smiles every shift.

About You

You know if this role suits you. You have the experience, presence, and pride required to lead a pub like this. This isn't just about managing a venue—it's about living the Publican life.

  • Hold current industry RSA and RSG / RCG qualifications as required by your state.
  • RMLV & Approved Managers Licence.
