Job Overview

  • A relevant engineering or technical degree (or equivalent experience) is essential.
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience managing multidisciplinary teams are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design delivery across multiple projects and programs with a focus on collaboration, quality, and outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and shared goals.
  • Drive early-stage design work across engineering, environmental, sustainability, and safety disciplines.
  • Mentor, guide, and empower a team of professionals to grow and succeed in a supportive environment.
  • Use data and forecasting tools to support decisions around cost, schedule, and risk.
  • Ensure high performance and a positive team culture through strong leadership and project oversight.
What You'll Bring
  • A relevant engineering or technical degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in infrastructure design—especially within water or defence sectors.
  • Strong leadership qualities and experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated capability in project management, including cost, scheduling, and change control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Eligibility for Defence Security Clearance is highly regarded.
