Job Overview

The role of a Traffic Signal and ITS Equipment Technician is to ensure the smooth operation of traffic management systems.

  • Maintaining, fault-finding, and upgrading traffic signals and ITS equipment are key responsibilities.
  • Compliance with statutory requirements, project management systems, and site health and safety protocols is essential.
  • Participating in on-call and relief services, as well as ongoing training to enhance technical capabilities, are also crucial aspects of the job.
  • Effective emergency response coordination and contributing to the review of operational procedures are additional duties.
  • Close collaboration with the Asset Manager and ITS Asset Engineer is necessary for delivering high-quality asset management planning services.
  • Other tasks may be assigned by the ITS Supervisor.
