Senior Family Violence Practitioner

This position focuses on providing targeted support and advocacy to Aboriginal families experiencing family violence.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain partnerships with local services for coordinated support and referrals.
- Deliver culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care to Aboriginal families impacted by family violence.
- Manage complex cases through thorough assessments, safety planning, and coordination with relevant services.
- Collaborate with staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in family violence prevention and response.
- Postgraduate degree in Social Work or a related field.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise in the Family Violence Protection Act 2008 and Information Sharing Framework.
- Current valid Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
