Mental Health Clinician Role Overview


This is a mental health specialist nursing position that involves providing high-level clinical care and problem-solving skills to patients with complex needs. The role requires working autonomously within the healthcare team and contributing to the planning, managing, and delivery of mental health services.

The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide quality care to patients with diverse needs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical management and problem-solving skills to patients with complex care needs.
  • Work autonomously within the healthcare team to contribute to the planning, managing, and delivery of mental health services.

  • Base salary range: $107,960 – $115,604 per annum.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
