Be part of a dynamic team as a Transport Operator, delivering sensitive freight to commercial locations in the ACT. This is a unique role that requires above and beyond standard parcel delivery skills, with opportunities to learn important systems and develop excellent customer relations.

The main job involves transporting goods to various locations, requiring the ability to work Saturdays if possible, but also offering flexibility to balance hours or take a day off during the week. There is also an opportunity to work with other contractors if you want more hours or variety.

We are looking for someone who can operate a 4-ton truck (manual) or a 1-ton van (auto). The work includes sorting, loading, and delivering cartons, plastic totes, and smaller items. You will need to obtain Blue card certification and have a valid Australian driver's license with no major offenses.

Key requirements include:

  • Valid working rights
  • Blue card certification
  • Australian driver's license with no major offenses
  • Ability to comply with random drug testing

Demonstrated experience in driving, transport, or manual jobs would be advantageous, along with heavy vehicle licenses, forklift licenses, and WWVP cards. We are seeking individuals with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time, part-time, or subcontract position, offering flexible working arrangements. You will be expected to work 20-40 hours per week, with professional development assistance and travel reimbursement available.

Schedule: Day shift, morning shift, no weekends
