Our team delivers comprehensive solutions to mining and quarrying operations across all stages of a project, from survey to firing of blasts.About This OpportunityWe are seeking a Tech Services Specialist to join our team in Southeast Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering best practice blast engineering solutions to mining and quarrying operations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver blast engineering solutions and support to blasting operations and technical projects.
  • Provide professional technical services in the field.
  • Support customer design objectives through innovative engineering solutions.
  • Develop quality documents such as Mining and Quarry Management Plans.
  • Monitor and report opportunities for blasting result improvement.
  • Manage analytical data to demonstrate current cost parameters and identify areas for improvement.
The Successful Applicant Will Have:
  • Technical consultancy experience in blast design and MHF Operations.
  • A tertiary education in a Mining related degree or equivalent.
  • A Qualified Shot Firer License.
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role in the mining and/or quarrying industry.
