Job Title: Care Support Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to fill the role of Care Support Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

The Care Support Associate will provide personal care and domestic assistance to our clients, focusing on assisting with daily activities, including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, medication monitoring, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation to appointments.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and domestic assistance to clients, adhering to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and manage client medications, ensuring timely administration and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Plan and prepare meals, considering clients' dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment, performing household chores and managing cleaning schedules.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
  • Transport clients to appointments and engagements, utilizing a registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community).
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • National Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Registered vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
  • Smartphone.
  • Availability to attend live-in shifts in Gawler.
  • Experience providing personal care in a home setting.
